On Wednesday the Edinburgh urban pollinator team once again attended
the Eco-Schools annual celebration event at Napier University. Our display
featured specimens of bees, wasps, and their Dipteran mimics, and a competition
to test the children’s flower drawing skills. There were several excellent
entries but the 1st prize - a solitary bee hotel - went to Sam from St Johns RC
Primary School for his detailed and well labelled drawing of a flowers
reproductive structures. Well done Sam!
